Users love to plan an itinerary through reels. Why not make the experience seamless?
On Instagram, creators showcase hidden gems, cafés, viewpoints, and things to do through their reels. People scroll, discover something they want to remember, and save the reel or take a screenshot so they can come back to it later.
The problem shows up when it's actually time to plan. Maybe weeks or years later, when they're finally booking a trip to that city, they have to scroll through hundreds of saved reels or dig through their camera roll trying to find the one post that had that restaurant, that viewpoint, that hidden gem.
The place was always in the reel. The connection to where it is on a map never was. Save was built for bookmarking, not for planning.

Sometimes you see someone make a reel at a specific place and you want to recreate it. Same problem as saving, but Plan pins that reel to the physical location. When you have a trip planned, you can see the reels you want to make at each spot.
